
Good Massage Managing Director Jason MacDonald has an extensive background in outdoor pursuits instruction including abseiling, climbing, rafting and is a qualified PADI scuba instructor. Jason holds a gym/fitness instructor qualification and maintains a strong interest in white water kayaking, canoe polo, mountain biking/cycling and running (completed the 67km Kepler Challenge in 1997).
Jason has a Diploma in Massage Therapy from the widely respected Canterbury College of Natural Medicine in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Diana Kornel comes to us from Germany where she trained as a Massage Therapist graduating with a Diploma in 1997. In
1998 Diana completed further training specializing in Lymphatic Drainage and in 2000 graduated with a diploma of Physiotherapy. Diana has over 10 years experience working alongside various modalities including Chiropractic and Podiatry and also has extensive experience in Hydrotherapy and group therapy for MS and Parkinson’s patients.
“My passion is Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) this is a gentle massage which reduces oedemas in post-operative cancer patients or post-surgery patients who have had hip, knee or shoulder replacements, fractures or LCA ruptures prior to going on to physiotherapy for rehabilitation treatment.”
Diana has considerable experience working with athletes from all sports particularly basketball and wheelchair tennis and in 2004 was invited by New Zealand Wheelchair Tennis to be part of the massage team for the Wheelchair Tennis World Team Cup. Diana maintains a strong connection with Canterbury Wheelchair Tennis and has interests in horse riding, salsa and aerobics.
